Newfoundland Sikh Society-Gurdwara

Saturday 10am to 4pm

680 Logy Bay Road

Without a traditional Gurdwara in the city, the first Sikh families in St. John’s practiced in their homes and rotated hosting responsibilities. When the opportunity presented itself, the families eventually discussed the possibility of a Gurdwara, and in 2003 they opened the first Gurdwara in St. John's. The Sikh community is particularly proud of their “open doors” custom which welcomes anyone, Sikh or non-Sikh, into its Gurdwara.
