The grandest and most elaborate house of its time, Winterholme was built in 1905 for Sir Marmaduke Winter during a time when the wealth and power of Newfoundland's merchants was at its height. In 2016 this beautiful Queen Anne Revival style home transitioned from a Bed & Breakfast to a Wellness Center, Day Spa and Events Location. This structure was also awarded the Southcott Award for heritage restoration by the Newfoundland Historic Trust.
