The Railway Coastal Museum tells the fascinating story of the great initiative, courage, and sacrifice involved in building and operating the Newfoundland Railway and Coastal Boat services. It is housed in the original Riverhead Railway Station which was opened in 1903. The museum features a 1940's passenger train diorama, automated model train, outdoor train park, and the "Mile 0" for the Trans Canada T'Railway.
